Will never come back. I called before heading there to ask about admissions to get in. Drove 30 minutes there and got me and my son ready to go in. I get up to the front and I get my card out ready to pay and them they tell me that they only take cash or checks! That information would have been great on the phone. So now my son is crying his eyes out because he isn't even 2 yet and doesn't understand why we couldn't go in.
Great family place.
Anyways, we went somewhere else, had a great time and I would advise everyone else to do the same. Save your money or go somewhere else.
Let me start by explaining that I have been to plenty of public pools with my 3 children as my residence is in the St. Louis area. First, the price to allow my 18 month old in so she could only use the spray park, was high. Many pools elsewhere, allow children 2 and under in for free. Considering Noble Park pool does not even allow children who are still in diapers into the pool, it seems excessive for them to be charged. As a result of this rule, there is no way to be present for your older children in the pool while fighting your young child you rightfully, wants to also go into the actual pool and out of the mediocre spray area that may be a bit scary depending on age and personality. As I was from out of town attending this pool with family, I was unaware of this policy, otherwise, I would have never gone. I was informed of it at the front door, but paid because I had two older children looking forward to swimming. It went horribly and she. I asked for my mo way back for the toddler and myself since we would not be using the services I was declined. In this instance, customer service could have taken the upper hand, but I was told I knew of the policy, so I would not be reimbursed. Although, all true, it is clear that the park department and Noble Park Pool has no interest in facilitating a positive water/pool environment for the entire family.
Go somewhere else. It's not worth it. We weren't even there for an entire hour before we got fed up with it. The pool was clean, but the lifeguards were rude. Every five minutes they were blowing a whistle over something. It was ridiculous, not relaxing or fun at all. They had an attitude and I didn't appreciate the way they talked to the children and young adults who were just trying to have fun. I understand that there are rules and rules need to be respected, but thier "rules" were overkill.
Let me first say, I'm not the kind of person to leave a review. No matter the expierence, good or bad, I have never left a review online. I'm not sure if people even bother to read these, but I really feel like I need to warn people about this place.
Over moderated and unresponsive on the phone. They never pick up the phone and when they do some pissy person usually picks up. Besides that, pool is fine and fun.
