If you want a doctor who actually cares about his patient and not the almighty dollar then Dr. Phillips is the doctor for you. This man not only cares about his patients he actually knows your file, he knows who you are. He does in fact review your test results.If something is not right you will get a call from his office. If you call his office a real human being will answer the phone. If you leave a message you will receive a return call. My sister, Kathy Belmonte, has been with Dr. Phillips for two years now. Every single member of the doctor's staff is top notch. Kind, courteous and caring hardly covers it.
So blessed to have him as my Dr! He is very caring, sensitive and understanding. He listens! He will do everything possible to heal you and help you through each stage of your illness. Amazing rheumatologist!
Dr. Phillips is extremely knowledgeable. He know his medications. On our very first appontment with Dr. Phillips my sister was telling him how she suffers from Raynaud disease. After looking over her medication list he pointed out the medication that was responsible for her Raynauds. She contacted her family doctor to seek a change for that medication and hasn't been bothered by the Raynauds again. More recently Dr. Phillips came through again. Kathy had a routine blood test with copies going to three doctor's including Dr. Phillips. We got a call the next day from only Dr. PhilDrlips office. The message - go to the ER immediately. Kathy's kidney function had dropped to below dyalisis level. What happened to the other two doctor's? Dr. Phillips probably saved Kathy's life. At the very least he saved her from kidney damage. We think very highly of Dr.Phillips and his staff. If you need help with your RA you won't go wrong by going to see Dr. Phillips.
I was so blessed to find Dr Christopher Phillips back in 2014. I had taxotere chemotherapy in 2010 for ovarian cancer. From the time i began chemo until now it is terrible how much chronic pain i have been in. I am still working full time but by the time i get home, i am in so much pain i have to rest for the remainder of the evening. Before Dr Phillips diagnosed me with chemotherapy induced fibromyalgia, i had every test in the book to try and find out what was wrong. So thousands of dollars later, Dr Phillips pegged it. He said "this is not in your head. you are not imagining the pain. The pain is real and you are suffering from taxotere induced fibromyalgia. Taxotere is a neurotoxin and it has damaged the nerve endings in your body." I cannot take neurontin, Lyrica or any of the typical drugs for fibro. So i take Tramadol when i have an attack. it takes the edge off as does the use of essential oils on the most painful areas. Thank you Dr Phillips for helping me realize i am NOT crazy.
