It was pretty busy when I went and there weren’t really many registers open. The employees are okay, not as friendly as they could have been. Also, no one greeted me when I came in which they should have. The person that was supposed to be greeting people was talking to another employee. All in all, not the best Walmart to go to. But it’s Walmart so not very high expectations anyway.
Prices are average. Wide variety of products. Better be prepared for a lot of walking. Huge place.
We stopped in last night before closing time because we had in emergency tire that needed to be replaced. We're rolled the old tire & wheel into the shop to have it quickly swapped out with a new one. Then we were gonna pay for the additional tires wr needed and come back to have those done the next day. They had a few customers already but sent us away because they were getting ready to close and they didn't want to be there later. So even though we came in before closing time we were sent away and it looks like we're going to have to buy four new tires elsewhere. Not giving our money to such an uncaring place. If you can avoid it don't give your money to Walmart terrible customer service.
As a rule, I abhor going to Walmart. Today it was packed like they just announced a snow storm and tomorrow is Thanksgiving. But I have to give Walmart credit today. They had all the checkouts operating. Yes, we had to wait a good while to get through the line, but at least you could see that they were trying their best to accommodate. So, for the first time ever, I say thank you Walmart for your efforts today.
This Walmart has a great layout. Every thing is super easy to find but the selection is lacking compared to the other Walmart in Paducah on south side. This one is a bit smaller and I feel like more crowded so they seem to have trouble keeping items stocked on the shelf. The parking lot is also pretty crazy most of the time. But the staff is very friendly and willing to help you find what you need to find. I personally prefer the south side one to this Walmart, non the less it’s still a decent Store.
