CONS: some of the food was just weird. ordered a medium steak and it was RARE. $140 for two people was way overpriced in my book. Staff did a poor job. It took forever to get drinks and menu was very poorly explained. They stick you with 20% gratuity if the party is 6 or more. Hardcore rubberneckers when you walk in with a pretty girl. Not the experience I expected.

Superb dining experience. From beginning beer cheese & pork rinds, to fish, shrimp & grits to salted caramel cake, all was amazing. Service was excellent. You will not be disappointed.
Very pleasant wait staff and interesting menu. Cocktails prepared with flair and the wine menu is decent. Would have been pleased by a pasta choice on the menu without meat. Desserts we're pretty good as was the overall atmosphere.
I was in Paducah on a business trip and Freight House was recommended to me by a co-worker. The appetizer, entree, and dessert I had were all creative and delicious yet approachable. The limited rotating menu was a nice way to focus on a select group of expertly executed dishes. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Paducah!
First timer. Loved the starter dishes, such as the tomato salad with quail eggs. Also ordered the shrimp. It was served on ham and beans. Really an odd combo and I wasn't too crazy about the flavor. Nice selection of craft beer. Nice!
