Beautiful Hotel but Room was very cold with a breeze coming in through window area. Also, bathroom floor freezing and toilet area had no heat. We were on the first floor with a window facing an alley way....not scenic. Incredibly noisy, could't heat TV due to a private party going on in the lounge. Other than that, Enormous very cool (literally) shower, took more than 10 minutes to get any hot water. Shower was beautiful, nice tile and Delta Hardware. Hugh LG TV. Cool Book shelf with vintage books. Beautiful Faux wood floor. Very nice Atmosphere. Nice downtown with lots of quaint shops. Lots of Moonshine at the local Bars:)
We went to The 1857 Hotel for drinks with some friends on Friday night... it was awesome. The bartender was on point, she was quick attentive and sociable. I would definitely recommend anyone that wants to have a fun night out with friends to stop by the bar for a few drinks. Atmosphere is nice too, it's clean and spacious.
Stayed here several months ago and I can not wait to go back. The hotel was quiet, staff was amazing, and the entire hotel was clean and GORGEOUS. The front staff took the time to tell me the history about the hotel and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the king suite (which was extremely reasonably priced). I loved the layout of the room and huge bathtub and waterfall shower. Can't wait to return!
I helped set up the event space for my best friend's wedding. They're extremely accommodating and flexible with the space. They have a good sounds system, great aesthetic, and ridiculously helpful staff. Strongly recommend.
I stayed for two nights at this hotel while also attending my own wedding. The rooms were incredible, and the event space gave us everything we needed for the wedding. Everyone involved was extremely pleasant and professional, and the wedding was incredible. I will forever remember this day and the folks at the 1857 who made it possible!
